HIGH FREQUENCY RECIPROCATING TRIBOMETER

The TE 77 High Frequency Reciprocating Tribometer is a well-known and versatile friction machine and research and development tool for the evaluation of lubricants, materials, coatings, and surface treatments.

The TE 77 is capable of matching sliding contact conditions to a number of machine elements. Specimens may either be of a standard format, or can be cut from real components, preserving surface finish and other properties.

DAIMLER RRV ROTARY RING LINE TRIBOMETER

The Daimler RRV Rotary Ring Line Tribometer test configuration allows multiple ring samples running against an unmodified cylinder liner for engine simulation. The key difference between this device and more conventional reciprocating ring-liner test is that instead of running up and down the liner, the samples are run around the internal circumference of the liner in either continuous rotation with high sliding speeds, or oscillating motion.
